How easy it is to become discouraged. We look at a path and see not the smooth way, but every pebble and pitfall before us. We become distracted by the obstacles we face and forget to keep our focus on the goals which motivate and inspire us. That is, after all, the secret of success. Being able to see past the obstacles which might overcome us. The truly successful learn to think outside the parameters of such distraction. They learn to focus all of their energies on what motivates and inspires them. They become adept at turning defects into assets. We, too, must cultivate our successful minds. While obstacles may occasionally impede our progress, we must remain dedicated to progress nonetheless. Keeping our eyes on the goals which inspire us, we may find those obstacles shrinking from boulders to pebbles... easily overcome. |
