How often we face a task and decide it is too difficult for us to achieve success.
The mountain of our trepidation and anticipation is too tall,
the risk of failure too great.
Thus justifying fear into nobility,
we never honestly attempt to reach our full potential.
And we never achieve success.
Instead, when faced with any difficult task,
let us approach that mountain one step at a time.
We aren’t superhuman, after all. We needn’t achieve the summit in one bound!
Life is a journey whose value is measured in the steps we take.
Our progress, our ability to express our potential,
can positively impact the world around us.
Let us be organized, logical, methodical, flexible & dynamic.
Let us gather our resources and make full use of them.
Let us be honest enough to ask for assistance if the need arises and
let us be faithful enough to believe our companions will assist us in our need.
At the end of this day’s journey, let us look back down that mountain ...
let us realize that the ability was within us all the while.
